The CYVIO App is the primary client for CYVIO devices. Camera activation and account binding can only be completed through the CYVIO App.
After the device is successfully bound to your account, you are not required to continue using the CYVIO App. Instead, you can access and manage your camera through the CYVIO VMS platform.
Updating the firmware can fix some known issues and improve performance. If your device is currently working without any problems, you can continue using it as is. You may also choose to update later if any issues arise.
