I’ve been using this 4K solar wireless outdoor security camera setup for a bit now, and overall I’m really impressed.First off, installation was super easy. No complicated wiring, just mount it, connect to WiFi, and you’re good to go. The wireless setup paired with the solar panel makes it really convenient, especially for areas where running power would be an issue or impossible.The picture quality is excellent. The 4K resolution is clear and sharp, and the color night vision is actually helpful, much better image than grayscale. I can clearly see what’s going on around my property day or night.One of my favorite features is the AI detection. I used to get constant alerts from trees blowing in the wind, flying insects, and spider webs (seriously, those spiders love cameras). Now, those false alerts are basically gone. I mostly get notifications that actually matter—like when stray cats wander through the yard or when someone tried to break into my car. That alone makes this camera feel like a huge upgrade.The no-subscription aspect is another big win. It’s refreshing to have full functionality without being locked into monthly fees like the camera system this and the other Cyvio cameras I have are replacing.As for the solar panel, it does the job and keeps the camera charged, but it does feel like it’s made of thinner plastic. That’s my only real concern—I’m not sure how it will hold up long-term in the hot central valley weather.Overall, I’m very happy with this system. Great video quality, smart alerts that actually make sense, easy setup, and no subscription fees. If the solar panel proves durable over time, this would easily be a 5-star product for me.

I have acquired my fair share of cameras from this particular company in the past month or so and I haven't had any issues with any of them this far. That includes the door bell cameras and the solar motion cameras as well as a full systemI think expectations are key to enjoying things in this world. If you go into things with no expectations you can never be disappointed. With that being said I doubt I would have been disappointed even if I had higher hopes for this set up because it gets the job done.Number one you don't have to worry about a subscription eating its way through your bank account for you to use the cameras or add extra ones etc. This is always great because that's how most of the camera companies get you.Build wise these are pretty solid. The 4k is nice and gives you a clear picture of what's going on, the wireless aspect makes for an easy installation although you may need a wifi booster if you are surveilling a large area. The solar panels mean you don't have to worry about hooking it up to power.So overall it's the most accommodating security system on the market lol. That might be an exaggeration but the ease of set up and the functionality make this system a winner.Definitely a good value for the dollar and a great option for home security. This camera is awesome! it has a huge battery that is charged with solar panel. The camera mounts easily and instructions are easy to follow for your connections. No subscription needed, you just use a micro SD card and that's all you need. It's a quick connection to your wifi and the app is OK. I would like them to include the SD card so I don't have to wait for one or go get one. However, that being said, the image is clear and a decent wide angle. night time is pretty good. As good as any camera out there. Try it!

I put up the 4K Solar Wireless Outdoor Security Camera a little while back, and it feels like I hired a watchdog that doesn’t eat, doesn’t sleep, doesn’t complain. Battery-powered, paired with a solar panel, no cords snaking around the siding, which, honestly, was the whole point for me. Setup surprised me, in a good way. I mounted it out in the yard and then set the solar panel where it could actually catch decent light, done. No weekly “oh right, I need to charge the camera” routine. That 11600mAh rechargeable battery is big enough that after weeks I’m still not thinking about power, and the fact it keeps sipping sunlight in the background, that’s the kind of low-effort security I wanted. Video quality, yeah, it’s sharp. 4K isn’t marketing fluff here, you can actually tell what you’re looking at. Night footage looks better than I expected too, the color night vision makes things feel less like a ghost movie and more like, you know, your actual yard. First week I caught a raccoon nosing around my trash cans, and the little thief showed up in full, painfully clear detail. The AI detection is where it starts feeling smarter than a basic motion camera. Human and vehicle alerts mean I’m not getting pinged every time a squirrel does parkour or a gust of wind tosses leaves across the frame. Fewer pointless notifications, more useful ones, that part is a win.. No subscription fees, strong image quality, solar power, decent detection, you’re not getting nickel-and-dimed every month like a lot of security setups do. It ends up feeling like a bargain without being “cheap.” Build-wise, it’s taken normal weather fine. My main gripes are app-related. Live view can lag, which is annoying when you’re trying to check something right now, not in ten seconds. And motion sensitivity took some fiddling, not hard exactly, just a bit of trial-and-error before it stopped being too jumpy or too sleepy.
