How to Initially Set up CYVIO Doorbell Camera R112 via CYVIO App?
This article provides a detailed guide on how to complete the initial setup and network connection of the R112 Battery Doorbell using the CYVIO App. Please follow the steps below to easily add your device.

Before you begin, click the link or scan the QR code to download and install the latest version of the CYVIO App. Power on the doorbell base station and place it near your home router to ensure a stable network connection.

You can follow the steps below to complete the initial setup of the R112 Battery Doorbell Kit using the CYVIO App.
Note: Before adding the device in the app, please connect your mobile phone to your home Wi-Fi network. During the setup process, follow the app prompts and allow CYVIO to access the camera, location, Bluetooth, and network permissions.
Step 1:
Connect the base station to a power source. The base station indicator light will remain solid red for approximately 45 seconds. The base station will then play a voice prompt: “Please configure your network setting with the app.” At the same time, the indicator light will change from solid red to slowly flashing red.
Next, press and hold the power switch on the back of the doorbell for more than 3 seconds to power it on.


Step 2: Open the CYVIO App and log in to your account. Tap the icon in the top-right corner, then select Scan to begin the initial setup.

Step 3: Scan the QR code on the back of the base station. If you are setting up the device in a dark environment, you can tap the “Light” icon to turn on the flashlight.

Note (Android): If the QR code is damaged or cannot be recognized, tap “Can not find the QR code?” to enter the alternative setup page.
Then tap “Wi-Fi connect” → “Next” to go to the device search page.
Select the device hotspot starting with NC-DB1 to proceed to Step 4.



Note (iOS): If the QR code is damaged or cannot be recognized, tap “Can not find the QR code?” to enter the alternative setup page.
Then tap “Wi-Fi connect” → “Next” to go to the device search page.
At the bottom, tap “Manual Add” → then tap “Go to settings”.



At this point, return to your iOS device’s Wi-Fi settings, find the device hotspot starting with NC-DB1, and connect using the password 12345678.
Then return to the CYVIO App and tap “Next” to proceed to Step 4.


Step 4: Tap “Next” → then tap “Connect” (or “Join”) to connect your phone to the device hotspot.



Step 5: On the Wi-Fi configuration page, select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to, enter its password, and tap “Next.”

Step 6: Set the initial password for the device, then tap “Next.” A 120-second countdown will begin while the doorbell connects to the Wi-Fi network. During this process, the device will play a voice prompt: “WiFi connecting, please wait.” Please wait until the connection is successful.


Note: If you hear the device announce “WiFi connect fail, please try again” and the CYVIO app shows a connection failure, this is usually caused by one of the following reasons.
Please check each item step by step. If the issue persists, we can assist you further with troubleshooting.

Step 7: Once the connection is successful, you can choose to save the device QR code for future use. Tap “Next” to proceed to the device information configuration.

Step 8: Name your device, set the time zone, and format the storage. Then, install the doorbell according to your usage scenario.
