Can I use the camera without the app?

Answer:
The CYVIO App is the primary client for CYVIO devices. Camera activation and account binding can only be completed through the CYVIO App.
After the device is successfully bound to your account, you are not required to continue using the CYVIO App. Instead, you can access and manage your camera through the CYVIO VMS platform.
Below are the detailed steps:
Step 1:
Power on the camera and connect it to the network using an Ethernet cable. Wait for 1–2 minutes for the device to complete startup.
Download the CYVIO App by searching for CYVIO in your app store, or scan the QR code below to download it.

Step 2:
Launch the CYVIO App and activate the camera, then add it to your CYVIO account.

Step 3:
Open a web browser and go to the CYVIO VMS website: https://vms.cyviolife.com/.
Enter your CYVIO account username and password, select your region, then click Log In.
Step 4:
Click Live View in the left-side menu to enter the CYVIO VMS preview page. Double-click the camera name to quickly view the live feed. From this page, you can control PTZ functions, turn the warning light on or off, and perform other operations (interface shown below).
Step 5:
Click Playback in the left-side menu to enter the CYVIO VMS playback page, where you can view recorded videos from the camera.
(Please note that an SD card must be inserted and recording must be enabled in advance.)

Step 6:
Click Device in the left-side menu to enter the CYVIO VMS device management page. Click the Settings icon next to the camera to access the remote settings page, where you can adjust the camera parameters (interface shown below).
