Two-way audio not working
When you encounter issues with two-way audio not functioning properly, the problem is usually related to microphone permission not being granted, incorrect audio settings, or possible hardware damage. Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
I. Check CYVIO App Microphone Permission
Step 1: Open your phone's system settings and go to App Management or App Permissions.

Step 2: Find and tap CYVIO in the app list to enter the app information page.

Step 3: Select Permissions, locate Microphone, and make sure the permission is enabled.
II. Check Device Audio Settings
Step 1: Open the CYVIO App, select the device with the two-way audio issue, tap the "…" icon in the top-right corner, and choose Camera Settings to enter the camera settings page (see image below).
Step 2: On the camera settings page, tap Audio Settings to enter the audio configuration page (see image below).
Step 3: Make sure that Speaker Volume and Microphone are not set to 0 (see image below).
III. Hardware Troubleshooting
If the issue persists after checking all the settings above, please verify the hardware status using the following method:
Use your phone to make a call with another device. If the call works normally (both parties can hear each other clearly), this indicates that your phone's microphone and speaker are functioning properly. In this case, there may be a risk of camera hardware damage. We recommend contacting us for professional inspection and support.
