How to Check If Camera/NVR is Connected with Internet?
If you can access the camera locally but cannot log in remotely via the Internet, you need to check the network connection. Please follow the steps below:
Applies to: N2834D/N2838D/D101 POE Turret Kit, N2834/N2838/W301 POE Bullet Kit, N2834 Lite POE Bullet Kit, N1814/N1812/B301 HaLow Kit.
Step 1: Check System Information
Go to the System Information interface and check the Network Connection Status. If the status shows "Connected," the device is successfully connected to the Internet.
Step 2: Troubleshoot Physical Connections
If the status shows "Disconnected," inspect the network cables to ensure they are plugged in securely. Check for any loose connections or cable damage to ensure the physical connection is functioning properly.
Here is the translation for the other camera models:
Other Models: C2 Pan-Tilt Camera, B220/B221 Battery Camera, R112 Doorbell
For these models, you can determine the Internet connection status by observing the indicator light:
- Connected: For the C2 Pan-Tilt Camera, B220/B221 Battery Camera, and the R112 Doorbell Base Station, a solid blue light indicates that the device is successfully connected to the Internet.
- Disconnected: If the indicator light is flashing or off, the connection may have failed.
