How to Change the Port of Cameras/NVRs?
Follow the steps below to access the configuration interface of your NVR system:
1. Log in to the System: Enter your NVR password or use the pattern unlock to gain access to the system settings.


2. Access the Configuration Interface: From the Live View page, right-click with your mouse to bring up the system menu. Select Configuration to enter the settings interface.


For Cameras:
Steps for Online Cameras:
Please follow the numbered sequence in the image below to navigate to the Camera Connection Settings interface.
1. In the Port input field within the Camera Connection Settings menu (as shown below), enter your desired port number.
2. Click the OK button.
3. The camera will now update its port settings and temporarily go offline. It will automatically reconnect and come back online after a short period.
The camera port has now been successfully modified!

Steps for Offline Cameras (Within the Same Local Area Network):
1. Add Device: Click the "Add Device" button.
2. Search: Click the "Search" button to discover devices that are on the same local network (LAN) as the NVR.
3. Modify Port: Click the "Edit" button to open the camera connection settings interface. Enter your desired port number in the pop-up input field and click OK.
The camera's port has now been successfully modified!
NVR Port Configuration
Follow the numbered sequence in the image below to navigate to the Port Configuration interface.
The NVR features both Internal Ports and External Ports. The modification methods for each are explained below:
1. Internal Ports
Locate the input field for the protocol you wish to change. Simply enter your desired port number into the Internal Port box and click the APPLY button to save the changes.
2. External Ports
- Manual Mapping: Set the Mapping Type to "Manual." This allows you to manually enter and edit the external port numbers (the ports used on your router). Click the APPLY button to complete the modification (as shown in Figure 1).

Automatic Mapping: Set the Mapping Type to "Auto." The system will automatically assign a random external port (this will differ from the internal port and cannot be edited by the user). Click the APPLY button to complete the modification (as shown in Figure 2)
