How to Initially Set up CYVIO PTZ WiFi Cameras C2 via CYVIO App?
This article explains how to complete the initial setup and Wi-Fi configuration of the C2 WiFi Camera using the CYVIO App. Please follow the steps below to successfully add the device.
Before getting started, download and install the latest version of the CYVIO App by clicking the link or scanning the QR code. Power on the C2 WiFi Camera and place it near your home router to ensure a stable network connection.

You can follow the steps below to complete the initial setup of the C2 PTZ WiFi Camera using the CYVIO App:

Note: Before adding the device in the app, please connect your mobile phone to your home Wi-Fi network. During the setup process, follow the app prompts and allow CYVIO to access the camera, location, Bluetooth, and network permissions.
Step 1: Connect the C2 camera to a power source. The indicator light will stay solid red for approximately 40 seconds. The camera will then play a voice prompt: “Please configure your network setting with the app.” At the same time, the indicator light will change from solid red to slowly flashing red.

Step 2: Tap the icon in the top-right corner of the app, then select Scan to begin the initial setup.

Step 3: Scan the QR code on the back of the base station. If you are setting up the device in a dark environment, you can tap the “Light” icon to turn on the flashlight.

Note: If the QR code is damaged or cannot be recognized, tap “Can not find the QR code?” to enter the alternative setup page.
Then tap “Wi-Fi connect” → “Next” to go to the device search page.
Select the device hotspot that starts with NC-W1E to proceed to Step 5.



Step 4: Tap “Red slow flashing” to enter the Bluetooth device search page.


Step 5: On the Wi-Fi configuration page, select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to, enter its password, and tap “Next.”

Step 6: Set the initial password for the device, then tap “Next.” A 120-second countdown will begin while the doorbell connects to the Wi-Fi network. During this process, the device will play a voice prompt: “WiFi connecting, please wait.” Please wait until the connection is successful.


Note: If you hear the device announce “WiFi connect fail, please try again” and the CYVIO app shows a connection failure, this is usually caused by one of the following reasons.
Please check each item step by step. If the issue persists, we can assist you further with troubleshooting.

Step 7: Once the connection is successful, you can choose to save the device QR code for future use. Tap “Next” to proceed to the device information configuration.

Step 8: Name your device, set the time zone, and format the storage. Then, install the C2 PTZ Camera according to your usage scenario.



Congratulations! Your CYVIO PTZ WiFi Camera C2 has been successfully activated and is ready for use.
