If you want to assign different names to your devices or cameras for easier identification—such as naming them by location or function—this guide will help you.

I. Rename a Single Camera in the App

(Applicable Models: C2 / B220 / B221)

Step 1:
Open the CYVIO App on your phone and log in to your account. On the home screen, tap the "…" icon in the upper-right corner of the camera you want to rename.

Step 2:
Tap Camera Settings to enter the settings page.

Step 3:
Tap Device Name.

Step 4:
Edit the camera name and save the changes.

Step 5:
After saving successfully, the updated device name will be displayed on the home screen.

II. Rename an NVR in the App

(Applicable Models: N18 / N28 / R112)

Step 1:
Open the CYVIO App and log in to your account. On the home screen, tap the "…" icon in the upper-right corner of the NVR you want to rename.

Step 2:
Tap Device Settings.

Step 3:
Tap Device Name.

Step 4:
Edit the NVR name and tap Save.

Step 5:
After saving successfully, the updated device name will be shown on the home screen.

III. Rename a Camera in a Kit via the App

(Applicable Models: W301 / D101 / B301)

Step 1:
Open the CYVIO App and log in. On the home screen, tap Open on the kit camera you want to rename.

Step 2:
Tap the "…" icon in the upper-right corner.

Step 3:
Tap Camera Settings.

Step 4:
Tap Channel Name.

Step 5:
Edit the camera name and tap Save.

Step 6:
After saving successfully, the updated camera name will be displayed on the camera preview screen.

IV. Rename a Camera via the Device System Interface

(Applicable Models: N18 / N28)

Step 1:
On the device login screen, enter the password and click Unlock to log in.

Step 2:
Right-click the mouse to open the main menu and click Configuration.

Step 3:
Click Common Settings.

Step 4:
Click Display Settings.

Step 5:
Select the camera you want to rename, then click the input field to edit the camera name.

Step 6:
Click Apply to save the changes.
