There are two possible scenarios when you forget your password. Please follow the steps below according to your actual situation.

I. Forgot CYVIO Account Password (Applicable to CYVIO App)

Step 1:
Open the CYVIO App. On the login screen, tap Forgot Password to enter the password reset page.

Step 2:
Enter the account for which you forgot the password and select the corresponding region.

Step 3:
Set a new password.

Step 4:
Tap the Get Verification Code button to obtain a verification code.

Step 5:
The email address associated with your CYVIO account will receive a verification code from the CYVIO team. Enter the code in the designated field.

Step 6:
Click Save to complete the password reset.

Step 7:
Return to the login page and enter the newly set password.

Step 8:
Click Login to sign in.

Step 9:
You will be successfully logged in and redirected to the App home page.

II. Forgot NVR Password (Applicable Model: N28)

Step 1:
If you forget the NVR login password, you need to restore the NVR to factory settings using the reset pin and then set a new password.

Step 2:
Locate the reset pin included in the NVR accessory package.

Step 3:
While the NVR is powered on, insert the reset pin into the reset hole and press and hold for 10 seconds until you hear the voice prompt:
"Reset success, device is restarting."

Step 4:
After the NVR finishes restarting, you can set a new password.
