Camera password vs account password
The differences between the camera password and the account password are as follows:
The camera password is only used for local connection and authentication for a single device, while the account password is a global credential used to access the CYVIO App or CYVIO VMS platform.
When multiple cameras are linked to the same account, you can log in to the CYVIO App or CYVIO VMS on any mobile phone or computer using the account password to centrally manage all devices, including live view, playback, and parameter configuration. The detailed instructions are provided below.
1. Camera Password
Before use, make sure that your mobile phone and the camera are connected to the same local area network (LAN).
① Log in to the CYVIO App, tap the “+” icon in the upper-right corner, and select “Scan QR Code”, as shown below.

② Scan the QR code on the camera body. After the CYVIO App detects the device, it will automatically enter the camera password input page, as shown below.

③ Enter the correct camera password, tap “Next”, and wait for the connection to complete, as shown below.

④ Once the connection is successful, you will enter the device name setup page. After naming the device, tap “Next” to complete adding the camera, as shown below.
