What is the default admin password of CYVIO cameras/NVRs?
Wireless cameras and NVRs do not have a default administrator password. The administrator password must be set during the activation process.

1. When a PoE camera is in an unactivated state and is directly connected to the NVR's PoE port, the NVR will automatically use the camera activation password configured on the NVR to activate the camera. In this case, the camera's default administrator password is the password used by the NVR to activate the camera.
2. When the camera is unactivated and connected to the same local area network (LAN) as the NVR, the camera can be activated and brought online through the NVR system. In this case as well, the camera's default administrator password is the password used by the NVR to activate the camera.
3. How can we find the camera's default administrator password?
3.1. Enter the system by inputting the NVR password or using the pattern unlock.

3.2. On the live view (preview) page, right-click the mouse to open the system menu, select Configuration, and enter the configuration interface.
Method 1: Since the camera's default administrator password is the password used by the NVR to activate the camera, you can find this password through the NVR.
Follow the steps shown in the image below to open the Advanced Setup option.
Enter the NVR login password for verification.
Follow the steps shown in the image below. The password highlighted in the yellow box is the password used by the NVR to activate the camera.
Method 2: View the password of an activated and online camera.
Follow the steps shown in the image below and check the Show Password option.
Enter the NVR login password for verification.
After verification, a password information column marked with a red circle will appear. From there, you can find the administrator password of the camera you want to activate.
