How to Upload Continuous Recording to FTP?
Currently, CYVIO cameras only support uploading alarm-triggered recordings to an FTP server.
Uploading continuous (loop) recordings directly to an FTP server is not supported at this time.
Below are the detailed steps to configure automatic upload of alarm recordings.
Step 1
Log in to the CYVIO VMS Management Platform:
https://vms.cyviolife.com/
From the left navigation bar, select Device.
In the device management interface, click Remote Device Management to enter the remote configuration page.
(Refer to the image below for the corresponding interface.)
Step 2
On the remote configuration page, locate and enter the FTP settings.
- Enable the FTP function
- Enter the server address, port, username, and password
- Enable the Upload Video option
- Click Save to complete the basic FTP configuration
(Refer to the image below for the corresponding interface.)
Step 3
Go to the Event Settings page.
Enable the desired detection event (such as Pedestrian and Vehicle Detection)
- Click Alarm Linkage
- Check the Video Upload option
- Save the configuration
(Refer to the image below for the corresponding interface.)
Step 4
After completing the above settings, when the camera detects a configured alarm event,
the corresponding alarm recording will be automatically uploaded to the specified FTP server.
(Refer to the image below for the result demonstration.)
