This article will guide you on how to replace the hard drive in a CYVIO NVR.

The steps for replacing the hard drive are very similar to installing a new one. The only additional step is removing the old hard drive before installing the new one.

How to Remove the Old Hard Drive

1. Remove the screws around the hard drive.
2. Gently hold the connectors of the power cable and data cable, and carefully unplug them from the hard drive.

Note: Always disconnect the power before replacing the hard drive.

Remove the NVR cover → Take out the mounting bracket → Remove the old hard drive → Install the new hard drive → Reassemble the NVR cover.
